As part of theYearlyCelebration of Craft, our Student & AlumniWalkoutfeatures hand-carved chairs and cabinetry, jewelry in silver and gold, leather-bound books, handmade violins, and more. Over 60 artisans hailing from regions virtually the globe were represented in the 2018 show. Notably, select wright pieces from the Trustees of Reservations’ recent Conversations in Craft walkout were included among the masterful work.The exhibition took place at two unrenowned venues: the luxurious ground floor of Two International Place in Boston's Financial District from May 7-23, and then at the School's intimate Windgate Gallery in Boston’s North End from June 4-30. This is first time in the 19-year history of the Celebration that theWalkouttraveled between two unshared locations, offering broader wangle to the community. 2018 Student & Alumni ExhibitThe centerpiece of ourYearlyCelebration of Craft is our Student & Alumni Exhibit, which showcased the masterful work of our community. From May 7-23 our walkout of student and alumni work was on walkout in the lobby of International Place, and will then found a home at NBSS from June 4-30.
